Our Story
Welcome to Home Solutions by Falco’s, where a legacy of dedication, innovation, and community service has been crafted through four generations. Our journey began in 1928 when Giuseppe Falco, an Italian immigrant fueled by dreams that stretched from New York to Seattle, opened a humble fruit stand in Spokane. This small venture, starting with the simplest fruits, planted the seed for a future deeply rooted in family values and community engagement.
The business torch passed to Giuseppe’s son, Joe, who recognized the rise of grocery stores and saw an opportunity for diversification. He transitioned our focus to nursery products and landscaping, adapting to changing consumer needs while preserving our core values of quality and service.
In recognizing evolving market trends, Louie, Joe’s son, shifted our focus towards hearth products—a decision that redefined our family business. Over the last four to five decades, we’ve developed expertise in fireplaces, stoves, and inserts, offering a variety of gas, wood, and pellet options. This diversification not only set us apart in the industry but also underscored our commitment to innovation and excellence.
Under the visionary leadership of Grant Falco, Giuseppe’s great-grandson, we’ve expanded beyond traditional hearth retailing. Today, we proudly operate as ‘Home Solutions by Falco’s,’ an umbrella organization encompassing several specialized divisions: ‘Alternative Heating by Falco’s,’ ‘Heating and Cooling by Falco’s,’ ‘Luxury Fireplaces by Falco’s,’ and ‘Outdoor Solutions by Falco’s.’ Each division is dedicated to enhancing different aspects of home and commercial environments, utilizing cutting-edge technology and innovative products, such as advanced Mitsubishi Electric solutions in our heating and cooling services.
Since 1928, Falco’s has been an integral part of the Spokane community, growing and evolving with the very people who have helped shape our journey. The community’s support has been a cornerstone of our success, enabling us to expand and innovate while maintaining the values of trust and quality service instilled by our founders. The recent transitions and losses within the Falco family—marked by the passing of Joe and Florence Falco, and Grant’s mother in 2023—have brought us closer together, reminding us of the legacy we strive to uphold. In November 2023, Grant and his wife Andrea stepped forward to lead Falco’s, recommitting to the community that has embraced us for nearly a century.
