Do you or someone you know have the ugliest A/C unit in Spokane?
Some air conditioners age gracefully. Others don’t. If your A/C has seen better days…or better decades…we want to see it! Nominate yourself, a deserving family member, or even a neighbor for a chance to replace that old, worn-out system with a brand-new A/C unit, completely free and professionally installed through Falco’s “Ugliest A/C Giveaway”.
Falco’s has proudly served Spokane families for nearly 100 years. We believe no household should suffer through extreme summer heat because of an aging or failing system.
We are looking to help one Spokane-area homeowner upgrade their comfort with a new, energy-efficient A/C system valued between $6,000–$10,000. If your unit is loud, outdated, or just plain embarrassing, this is your chance to finally replace it for FREE!
Entering is simple. Fill out the form and upload a photo of your current A/C unit to show us why it deserves the title of Spokane’s Ugliest.
Open to homeowners throughout Spokane County.

Falco’s Ugliest AC Contest
Think your AC is the worst in Spokane? Prove it! Submit a photo and tell us your story for a chance to win a FREE AC replacement (valued at $7,000–$10,000). It only takes a couple minutes to enter.
Contest Rules & Information:
All nominees and the eventual winner agree to sign the Participation Agreement/Consent & Release Form and agree to the Contest Rules outlined here and on the Release Form.
Submission Period:
Visit Falco’s website and follow the instructions to submit a nomination, including a short explanation of why the nominee deserves a new A/C unit, along with a photo. Submissions open on April 13, 2026 at 12:01 a.m. PDT. The deadline to submit the nomination is Friday, June 12, 2026 at 10:00 pm PDT
Qualification and Selection Process:
To qualify, submissions must include a completed nomination form, photos of the existing A/C unit and a story sharing why the unit should be considered Spokane’s Ugliest A/C. Nominees must own and occupy the home in Spokane County where the ugly unit is located and be available for and provide access to the home for an evaluation.
All entries will be reviewed and judged by Falco’s Spokane, and eligibility will be determined at their discretion based on the following criteria:
- Physical condition and appearance of the existing unit
- Age and deterioration
- System performance issues
- Safety concerns
- Household need
- Installation feasibility
Finalists must allow access for an in-home inspection to confirm the condition, safety, and feasibility of replacing the system. Homes with unsafe or unsuitable conditions, including but not limited to hazardous environments, faulty systems, or structural limitations or non-compatibility may be disqualified.
Winner Selection & Prizes:
For Falco’s “Ugliest A/C Unit” Giveaway, one (1) Grand Prize winner in Spokane County will be selected by Falco’s Spokane panel review and not by random drawing.
The winner will be announced on Falco’s website and social media platforms on or before June 26, 2026.
Installation of the new A/C unit will be scheduled based on availability between the winner and Falco’s following the conclusion of the contest.
The Grand Prize winner of Falco’s “Ugliest A/C Unit” Giveaway agrees to allow Falco’s and its advertising partner access to the winner’s home, by appointment, before, during and after the installation process to take photos and videos of the replacement process and completed installation that will be used in future advertising.
The Grand Prize includes one (1) new complete Air Conditioning system replacement package including:
- New high-efficiency outdoor condenser
- Indoor coil or compatible system components
- Professional installation by Falco’s
- New condenser pad
- Electrical disconnect
- Refrigerant line connection
- System startup and commissioning
- Standard manufacturer warranty
- Estimated value: $7,000 – $10,000 (actual equipment determined by home compatibility)
The above system is provided by Falco’s Spokane at no cost to the winner. Please note, this prize covers standard installation only and does not include additional services such as ductwork or system modifications.
The winner does not need to be present to win and will be notified by phone, email, or in person. If the selected winner cannot be reached or does not respond within 48 hours of initial contact, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to another finalist. If no eligible winner claims the prize, Falco’s reserves the right to donate the system to a local charity or nonprofit organization of its choice.
Additional terms and conditions may apply. Any costs not specifically included in the prize are the responsibility of the winner. This may include, but is not limited to, necessary upgrades or repairs to electrical or gas systems, replacement of damaged or outdated connections, ductwork modifications, or repairs related to installation. Homes that require work beyond standard installation may incur additional charges.
Indemnification and Limitation of Liability:
By entering the contest, each participant agrees to release, indemnify, and hold harmless Falco’s, as well as its suppliers, advertising and promotional partners, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any and all liability, damages, losses, or injuries arising directly or indirectly from participation in the contest, use of submitted content, or acceptance and use of any prize. This promotion is not sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Facebook.
Falco’s is not responsible for any technical issues, including damage to computer systems, that may result from accessing or participating in the contest.
Taxes:
Winner is responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes associated with the prize. A valid form of identification and taxpayer identification number will be required prior to prize distribution. Any prize valued over $600 will be reported to the IRS, and the winner will receive a Form 1099 at the end of the tax year.
Publicity:
By participating, each entrant grants Falco’s and its affiliates permission to use his/her name, likeness, business name or comments for publicity purposes without payment of additional consideration, except where prohibited by law.

This contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and is void where prohibited.
Nominees must be willing to participate in media interviews and promotional activities related to the contest and agree to the Official Rules.
Finalists may be required to provide proof of residency and occupancy within Spokane County.
By entering, nominees grant Falco’s and its affiliates a royalty-free, irrevocable right to use their name, image, likeness, and approved information for marketing and promotional purposes related to the giveaway. Participants may be asked to sign additional documentation to confirm these permissions.
ALL FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL TAXES ASSOCIATED WITH THE RECEIPT OR USE OF ANY PRIZE IS SOLELY THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE WINNER.
ADDITIONAL LIMITATIONS – Prize is non-transferable. No substitution or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted.
